Saint John School
Saint John’s School, founded in 1915 in San Juan, is a college preparatory school for over 800 students from pre-K to grade 12
Divided into three divisions—Early Childhood, Upper Elementary, and Secondary School—it is recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. The new identity features a modernized logo, an updated athletics emblem, a refined color palette and a cohesive branding system across all platforms, ensuring consistency and recognition. This evolution marks a significant milestone in Saint John’s School’s continued growth and innovation. We redesigned the current logotype with a more modern and streamlined approach while preserving the brand’s essence and recognition. A bold typeface with subtle serifs was chosen to balance modernity with institutional character.
The graphic elements are based on a stylized shield, which also serves as a versatile container for images and text, and the garita and the Statue of Liberty updated from the original logo. For the athletics division, the key element is a dynamic hurricane, representing the speed and energy of the players, with a strong yet approachable personality. The color palette consists of three contrasting shades of green, unifying the tones found in the uniforms and various school spaces.
